BBQ pork chops marinated three different ways.
For this recipe I’ve used just 3 pork chops, one for each person, but sure you can use as many as you like, or eat all three of them should you wish.
The BBQ pork chops are marinated first, separately, then each one is “pimped-up” with extra ingredients.
- 3 pcs boneless pork chops
- salt and pepper
- See the recipe for the 3 different marinate ingredients
Firstly all the meat had a pinch of salt and pepper, then a little olive oil was rubbed into each.
As per attached image, the “top” chop was left as it was.
The “middle” chop has been dusted with a pinch of smoked paprika (use sweet, or hot instead if you’d like).
And lastly the “bottom” chop was coated with a marinade made from 2 teaspoons of yogurt, a pinch of cumin, a pinch of turmeric (haldi powder) and some chili flakes. You can also add a drop of lime or lemon juice.
Let them marinate for 30 minutes while you prepare the rest.
Chop a red chili quite small, mix it with some chopped parsley and add a drop of lemon (or lime) juice. This is for the “red” or “middle” chop.
For the “top” chop, mix some chopped coriander with a sprig of spring garlic (fresh garlic, bulb and green, otherwise use a clove of garlic).
And the “bottom” or “yellow” chop, got a little bit of lime peel and some wild garlic flower for effect. Wild garlic flowers, optional.
Serve them with whatever you like on the side, chips, salad or both. Beer, vine or both. Now the BBQ pork chop is your oyster….
